1. If you are using Retin A, Retinol, Tazarac or Alpha-Hydroxy acids, you must discontinue use of these products at least one week prior to waxing.
2. If you are taking Accutane you must have discontinued use of this medication at least 6 months prior to a wax appointment.
3. Serious damage and scarring are possible if the above guidelines are not followed.
4. Lux uses Cirepil Wax in all of our waxing services. We use hard and/or soft wax, depending on the area we are waxing and the density and growth patterns of the hair to be removed. Cirepil is a superior wax product and is very gentle on the skin during the wax and post-wax procedure.
5. We offer a Basic Bikini Wax, a Full Brazilian Wax and everything in between. Please tell us what you’d like and we will be happy to accommodate your request.
6. If you are new to waxing please let us know. We have some tips that may prove helpful before and after your wax appointment.

We encourage you to book appointments in advance.

We happily accept walk-in appointments if we have availability.

We ask that should you need to cancel an appointment, please do so no less than 24 hours in advance.
Cancellations made with less than 24 hours notice will be billed to credit card secured appointments OR if you are redeeming a Lux Gift Card, the cost of the missed service will be deducted from the value of the Lux Gift Card.

If you are pleased with the services you receive at Lux, you can show your favor by tipping the manicurist, pedicurist, massage therapist or esthetician that cared for you; 15% to 20% is customary.
